DCV-Demand Controlled Ventilation

Demand Controlled Ventilation (DCV) is the automatic control of ventilation systems to prevent the costly over ventilation of buildings. Conditioning outside air requires additional energy, especially on design days when the outside air conditions are extreme.

We recognize the importance and benefits of this solution, and HMI has the ability to retrofit individual package units as well as Building Automation Systems (BAS) to properly control the ventilation of buildings. Benefits include large reductions in heating and cooling costs as well as reduced warping of ceiling tiles, wood components and mold issues.
