Digital Scroll Compressors

Compressor technology has advanced over the years. Digital scroll compressors allow the compressors to ramp up slowly and match the load. The result is lower peak power requirements and higher operating efficiencies at less than maximum capacity. This combination results in reduced operating costs. Copeland supports the digital scroll compressors with controllers for retrofit into existing systems. HMI has the ability to retrofit existing equipment with Copeland digital scroll compressors. HMI also offers replacement equipment with digital scroll compressors installed at the factory.
